August 22, 2024 by Samantha Greathead

Since its market introduction in 2010, the Volkswagen Polo Vivo has been South Africa’s top selling passenger model with over 425 000 units sold across South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. Volkswagen has refreshed the Polo Vivo with the new front-end design, new infotainment, new seat trim design and enhanced safety features to continue its success in the South African and Sub-Saharan markets. The new Volkswagen Polo Vivo will be available for sale in South Africa in September 2024.

Polo Vivo firmly established itself as a leader in the entry-level hatch market in spite of new models launching on a regular basis and with an even greater offering in the Polo Vivo, the new model is once again set to be the best-seller in the segment. Affordability, German build quality, enhanced safety, space and comfort are some of the key legendary attributes that have come to define the Volkswagen Polo Vivo, setting an unparallel benchmark in the segment.

Enhanced interior and exterior features

The new Polo Vivo is refreshed with distinct interior and exterior enhancements. Visually, the new Polo Vivo can be identified in the front-end by a 2D Volkswagen badge, redesigned front bumper with Daytime Running Lights and new headlights.

The rear end also sports a new 2D Volkswagen badge with the Vivo name in chrome centered below it and new antenna. Additionally, the new model introduces fresh colours, new interior seat materials and new equipment line naming convention.
