As COVID-19 and the consequent lockdown disrupted the usual way of doing business and connecting with one another, MasterDrive felt it was imperative to find new ways to connect with clients and share essential information. As a result, the MasterDrive colloquiums were born and are now an eagerly anticipated event on our calendars.
The CEO of MasterDrive, Eugene Herbert, says the second colloquium of 2021 is about to take place. “In collaboration with Ctrack, MasterDrive is presenting the next virtual colloquium entitled ‘Riding the Wave’ where thought-leaders from various industries will share their perspectives on the changes that have resulted in the past year.
“As companies navigate a landscape that is quite different to what we have known before, it becomes essential for us to draw from one another’s experience. This is especially so when one considers the changes occurred within only a few months, removing the luxury of time that normally comes with business evolution. This emphasises the importance of learning from one another as we continue to adjust.”
For the first time, a new and exciting concept will be introduced to the line-up that will prove invaluable to viewers. “This colloquium will feature a live demonstration. Mark from INpowered will present a self-protection demonstration that many of the industries featured in the colloquium will find useful in handling a considerable challenge faced in their daily operations: hijacking.
“While MasterDrive advocates doing your best to avoid this situation and to then follow a specific way to remove yourself from danger, we still understand that it may not always go the way we want it to. This is where Mark’s simple, yet powerful, technique comes into play. We highly recommend taking up the opportunity to witness him in action.”
There will be a number of other valuable presentations that you can look forward to as well, including presentations from the CEO of Ctrack, Hein Jordt, the CEO of the Road Freight Association, Gavin Kelly, the GM of the Southern African Vehicle Renting and Leasing Association, Sandile Ntseoane and a Q&A session with the CEO of MasterDrive, Eugene Herbert. Mark Baker, the founder and CEO of MyGrow will also be presenting on ‘The importance of EQ for the new world of work.’
MasterDrive and Ctrack look forward to hosting another insightful virtual colloquium. If you have not yet registered, now is the time to do so.
